Posted by JAM/CA at 11/16/2009 1:52:00 PM | Can anyone walk me through a problem with pdf files not opening. It's going to Microsoft word. I have an HP Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit. PDF files download and then I get an error message that says,
"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations Control Panel".
Without pdf I'm dead in the water. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you |

Posted by JAM/CA at 7/16/2009 10:30:00 PM | I did a signing for a South Carolina property today. The signer is a traveling nurse in California at the moment. Re-fi on her primary residence. She was not informed about the requirement for the two witnesses on the Mortgage. Attorney called and said I could be one of them and since we met at a restaurant to grab any waiter/waitress to witness. Nobody in the restaurant wanted to witness, they were afraid. I ended up calling my husband to drive to the restaurant to witness, to get this loan closed.
Question #1-Do you feel this deserves extra compensation?
Question #2-This looks like a jurat on the Mortgage. Is it a Jurat or Acknowledgment? The attorney wasn't sure. TIA
