Does anyone know if Cal Land is a current title company offering work to notaries? (if you can get a foot in the door, that is). I thought they sold out to Stewart Title. ???

and the cost is $375 a year. Do any of you belong? Are you getting jobs for the $375?

I've been getting all my loans thru signing services, and would like to also work directly with my local title companies. But I don't know how to get started... For those of you who work direct, what do you do to make that happen? Are you walking into Title Offices (cold calling) to introduce yourself?
I know many of TO's have to work from an approved notary list... How does one crack the code?
