Posted by Glenn Strickler at 12/21/2011 12:43:00 PM | Every year there are postings concerning surprises when it comes to shipping schedules by Fedex, UPS and others.
Just because the national Fedex or UPS website says their shipping schedule is "X" does not mean it's actually so, especially for those in rural areas. Cutoff times will vary and even an extra day or two can be removed from the local office's shipping schedule, depending on travel times and distances to the nearest airport that your shipper flies from. If your area has an exception to the national schedule, then the person that hires you needs to know. The people who hire you won't know or even care what your local shipping schedule changes (if any) are. Be sure you CYA.
So get on the horn, or better yet, visit the local office (or drop box if you must use one, I personally hate those) and find out the cut off times and the actual local shipping schedule ..... |

Posted by Glenn Strickler at 10/23/2011 12:26:00 AM | If you have not updated to the new operating system with your iPhone 4 or 3Gs, don't just yet.
I updated my wifes today and it crashed. Thinking that I must have made an error, I played around with it then since I couldn't resolve it, I hit the forums. I am not alone. Major issues with iOS5 with battery drainage. And if you do what I did, just sit it down and let the battery completely drain down, then you will be unable to reload it to change settings to try to get it going again. The battery needs just a tiny bit of juice left in it to connect to iTunes.
Here is a good forum. If you are having issues after updating it, you will find it here and some possible solutions.

If you haven't updated, then wait for a while. It's my understanding that even the new 4S is affected.
