Title taken in her name only because she was not married then. She is re-financing and husband does not have to sign any of the docs because it is not their homestead. Signing completed that way as instructed last Friday. Call today, that the husband still maintains a residence in Maryland 50% of the time home. Now I must have him sign an affidavit stating his homestead is......... Title company told me he would have had to sign the marital docs because of him not living 100% of the time in their home here. I am so confused. What effect would that have on him not signing any docs? He still does not have to sign any docs. Anyone know more about this situation? I am being paid for going out to have the one page signed and nobody is holding me accountable for this, of course, but I am just very curious and would like to understand this. |

After submitting the usual documents I received and email that I am approved by their Compliance Dept. The final step will be to register online for REALTrans e-commerce platform and I will be paid electronically. Also states that this final step has no cost at all. Well, when you get into the docs that they want you to click agree to, they mention a $50. set up fee to use the site, then also a fee for every job completed. I have emailed them asking what this is all about and am awaiting a response. Anyone else have any experience with this company? What a waste of time.... |

Posted by Donna McDaniel at 12/30/2011 5:07:00 PM | I received the docs in separate attachments. Every attachment printed fine until I got to the lender docs. They downloaded fine but were very slow to appear on the screen. When I tried to print, I only got characters here and there. I called Title and they resent them secured and then unsecured.
Still wouldn't print correctly. I did a a search and read that it could be the way they were scanned in. The TC says it is an issue with my software. Any other ideas? |
