Posted by Robin_IN at 7/16/2007 10:32:00 AM | | XP Doc owed me $xx.xx from a signing in April. I just received a $10.00 check with a letter for my, from the letter... "outstanding Purchase Order that you currently have with us to cover the expense of doing the signing"...They have closed their doors due to losing Ditech. They say they will be trying to restructure,keeping records and hope to be able to come back and pay the remainder of funds owed. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Never thought they would do something like this. |

Posted by Robin_IN at 6/26/2007 10:23:00 AM | I have been scheduled to do a 2nd location signing. First notary met with Mrs. Borrower, who is in Florida, and then fed-exed package to me. I received this morning and there were no dates filled in on Mrs. B's RTC. She had initialed at the bottom, but no dates. I immediately let the SS know so they could get this handled on their end today by having notary resign RTC's with Mrs. B. Since I am signing Mr. Borrower today, there would be no time lost since they can't disburse funds until after the latest 3 day RTC. This is the response I got from the SS:

>>For the 1st-location NRTC forms, please print the Opening date as 6/22/07 and Recission date as 6/26/07.
>>Your signer will use your signing date on the NRTCs.
What??!! Am I wrong here? I can't do this since I wasn't there, right?? This has never come up for me, but I am amazed that I was asked to do this. To me, this would be as bad as backdating a document. Thanks for your input.
