SOX Payment
Posted by Dennis_IN at 8/27/2007 7:57:00 PM
I know I shouldn't have ...but I did. I took a SOX closing in April. Scheduler promised they would follow their payment schedule. Well you know what happened. I followed up by calling the scheduler everyday. Then faxed invoice to accounts payable. ( I had completed their online invoice). Then called both A/P and scheduler everyday. I finally threatened them with contacting LO. THAT got their attention.
I have to say that throughout the whole time I was very nice except when I "Threatened " them ( it was real hard but I did).
On one email the A/P person cc'd two others and I did the same with great success.
I got paid.
If you are owed for closings here are some contact emails to use.

1st: Accounts Payable Joanna Sadaka accountspayable@soxusa.net

then try Missy Dobbs VP mdobbs@soxusa.net

I'm not sure who this person is but I got action after contacting her. Maybe the President?
Debbie Vladic dvladic@soxusa.com

Remember...KILL them with kindness...and you'll get paid like I did.
BUT NEVER AGAIN will I have to worry about SOX paying me...Just say no

They called me when I was in a closing...I got their name but no confermation...I have received so many calls before I could find their # in my phone. I guess no confirmation ='s no deal? Was to go today at 1 PM. Maybe they got someone cheaper after I accepted the closing?
Thank goodness I now use ieSpell (suggested by someone here). I had 2 typos.
