LP Producst Toner ??
Posted by SReis at 12/14/2007 10:57:00 PM
Just received my 1st shipment of toner. When I opened the toner pkg there was loose toner all over the place. Is this normal? I have never ordered from them before. I wiped the cartridge down & put it in & it seems to work fine. The 1st few pgs were a little messy w/toner but the rest are ok.

My son broke my shredder!!!
Posted by SReis at 11/23/2007 2:52:00 PM
He actually barely touched it & now the thing has NO power. Called Staples & told to ship it to them. Give me a break, I'm going to be out about $30 just on shipping & pkg.

My 3 yr old must really hate my work. In a short 3 yrs, make it 2 since he was pratically immobile the 1st 10mths, he has also managed to break a fax machine, copier & scanner. I was lucky enough to replace the other things fairly cheap but I am so mad about this because I just got the shredder about 3 mths prior & even purchased the extended wtty, although it doesn't kick in until 1 yr. I try to keep him out of my office, but sometimes its impossible. He's lucky he's so cute!!!

Signing w/FKA
Posted by SReis at 11/14/2007 1:26:00 PM
Had signing a few days ago where borrowers old name was on all docs. She could not produce any id to match that name so signing could not be completed. Now lender wants to use same docs but have her sign with her current name FKA old name on all docs. I can notarize the current name but not sure re: the FKA old name, esp. since using same docs that have only old name on them, although I would probably correct each sig line to match sig.

When it orig didn't sign I told them they should redraw docs under correct name but they can't seem to figure out how to do this(?). I figure they could do a corrective deed but I don't want to make any suggestions. Anyone have any input on this one?? Thanks in advance.

Is something better than nothing?????
Posted by SReis at 10/4/2007 12:57:00 PM
Call today from SS, I've never worked w/before but seemed to get good ratings here & willing to meet my fee. Get confir & states that only pay 1/2 fee for no-sign/no-fund. Although I normally charge full for either I was willing to accept 1/2 on the no-sign because the location was close. Told them I could not accept less than full fee for no-fund because my job would have been completed & not my job to ensure loan funds. Get same old re: them not getting their full fee, etc. In the end I said sorry can't do it. Part of me sorry because it has been so slow & could use the work either way but the other part says no way, its the principle that if I do my job I should get paid fully for it.
