Assignment from a lawyer
Posted by hp/MD at 9/29/2007 9:04:00 PM
2 months ago I get a call from a lawyer saying if I would accept a signing in Baltimore 35 miles one way for $150. He said you don't have to notorize anything and I will come to pick up the signed docs at your house. He montioned that he had 2 other signings the same evening himself. Lo and behold, I printed the docs and all the usual things the notory has to do. Once I met the borrower in his pizza shop, he went over the docs and he had lots of problems with the numbers. Finally he refused to sign after he talked to the LO. On my way home I called the lawyer and informed him of the situation. He agreed to pay me the full fee since I spent about one hour with the BO. Now he wants to pay me $40. What a crook. I am mad.

I was wondering if someone is a premier member and does not renew his membership, is he automatically will drop to basic membership?
