| | Harry/NR--Website Search Issues Posted by firegirl at 11/1/2007 9:20:00 AM | I responded to post #219110 referring to Title Resource Group. Last week I posted thread #218324 regarding this co. and when I did a search the the thread didn't show up. I even tried searching for the subject word for word and nothing....
I wanted to put something on the forum so people would see it if they did do a search...there is nothing on Signing Central either, and when I attempted to add them, I got a message saying the company was already in the database.
Thanks for your attention to this matter, and for offering such a great resource. Dawn/firegirl |

| | Not backdating exactly, but need opinions please... Posted by firegirl at 9/28/2007 4:39:00 PM | | I got a call from a co. that I did a signing for in March 2007. It seems they lost the acknowledgement for the Mortgage and want me to do another one. Of course they want it dated for 3/26/07 and they were able to give me a copy of the 'lost' acknowledgement. The borrower actually did personally appear to me on that date, so would it be legal to date the acknowledgement for 3/26/07 in this situation? |

| | Convenient Closing Svcs/Title Resource Group, Mt. Laurel, NJ Posted by firegirl at 9/28/2007 11:00:00 AM | | Anybody know anything about these people? I got a call for a signing from them and when I got the confirmation it was suspiciously vague, didn't mention the name of the people that hired me anywhere. It gave the name and number of the title officer to call if there were any problems and when I called it the greeting said "Convenient Closing Services", so I assume it is an in-house setup, but I just want to be sure. Can't be too careful these days. If anybody has any info I would appreciate it. TIA |

| | Survey: Personal record for #of signings in one day... Posted by firegirl at 9/25/2007 3:50:00 PM | Mine is 6.
Not trying to rub salt in the wound...found myself with extra time on my hands today <sigh>.
BTW got one for tonight, one yesterday, one tomorrow. Was secretly hoping I would get some last minute today, but no such luck. On the bright side, all this week's signings so far are no BS, no last-minute docs, and no worries about getting paid.
I am a reasonable commute from Wash. DC and am seriously considering the HUD training to do inspections. I want to be one of the "strong" who survives this mess. Got to diversify. |

| | Help, Please.... Posted by firegirl at 9/18/2007 9:34:00 AM | I have had my house on the market since March, with very little activity. My husband and I decided a while back that we would give it til Sept. and if it didn't sell then we would refinance and get some cash out to do some (more) renovations.
The probem is, I was talkting to a morgage guy today and he said we were going to have problems refinancing because the house was on the market and it would have to be off the market for 180 days or more before we would be able to get a a loan. It never occurred to me that this would be a problem and I know others are in the same boat, especially with the housing market being so slow. Insight anyone? TIA |

| | Past due payments Posted by firegirl at 9/15/2007 10:50:00 AM | | I was wondering what kind of dollar amounts everyone has in past due accounts. I have $1000 in receivables that are over 90 days that I will probably be unable to collect. This represents about 40% of my total receivables. Just curious, TIA. |
