Which Maine Notary accepted a closing in Bowdoin for 5:00
Posted by Tess/ME at 11/30/2007 8:07:00 PM
tonight from Kensington Title? They offered me $150. upped it to $175. then $200. Must have really been desperate. I asked about their paying policy and if it had changed. I was told it "had improved". Well, I hope so, for the sake of the Notary that acepted the assignment. They still owe me $50. from 11/05 when they shorted my check and ignored all attempts I made to collect for the next 6 months. ( Finally I gave up and faced the fact that I didn't have as much profit on that one as I did the ones before and after for that month). As a matter of fact I'm surprised they called me since I have turned them down for the past 2 years. Oh well, at least it is one check I won't be chasing after to begin 2008 with.

Now if the check is good, I can "count my blessings".
Guess they didn't want me to hassle the borrower (all I was going to do was mention to him that I never was paid for my services and hope his loan funded). Smile
