| | | | | Hardcore Soluitons paid as promised... Posted by Roger_OH at 10/28/2007 10:24:00 AM | | They sent an email to several on the board last Tuesday saying payment was forthcoming, and my check arrived yesterday. Hope everyone else got theirs! |
| | | | | LoanClosers.com/NotaryBids.com Posted by Roger_OH at 10/4/2007 5:19:00 PM | I received a solicitation for Chris' new venture, NotaryBids.com. I then chastised him for undertaking this without informing potential members that he was behind it, since the many notaries that were stiffed by LoanClosers.com might be interested in that rather pertinent bit of information in order to make a more informed decision.
He replied that he had a special category for stiffed LC notaries; I won't post his exact offer due to advertising restrictions, but perhaps it does perhaps provide those stiffed an opportunity to see if this new venture could work for them at no cost, and maybe get at least something back. I certainly have my doubts, but at least there's no cost risk. Your call. |
| | | | | Victoria Ring finally packs it in... Posted by Roger_OH at 8/27/2007 11:23:00 PM | Board veterans will be interested to hear that after several years, she has finally found a buyer for 50statenotary.
She may have been good at marketing, but was a fountain of notary misinformation for a long time. She was a stalwart ally of xyz until they butted heads at the Sin City conference. After that, she dumped them and backed way off notary stuff, concentrating instead on bankruptcy work.
Glad she's left the notary field.

| | | | | Question regarding notary commissioning in your state... Posted by Roger_OH at 7/2/2007 10:00:00 AM | In your state, what's the procedure for new notary applications? Does one apply directly to the SOS office in your state capital, or is it through, say, the clerk of courts in their own county?
We have to do the latter in Ohio, and I'm researching what the application procedure is in other states. Particularly interested if your county court system is involved in approving notary applications or handling notary disciplinary actions. Also, is there any specific statute in your state that prohibits a felon from holding a notary commission?
Thanks in advance, guys. |
