Posted by Claudine Osborne at 12/8/2011 9:26:00 AM | I received an official looking email this morning from the BBB stating someone had filed a complaint about me..(dont know how that would be possible but..) Anyway it had a case number and a link to reply..When I did this all that came up was the BBB logo..
So I called the BBB and a recording stated to ignore any email from the BBB as this is a scam and to delete this email right away..BBB does not email complaints...
I clicked on the link not realizing it..Hopefully my antivirus is working great!! |

Posted by Claudine Osborne at 10/27/2011 9:57:00 PM | Had a signing tonight and the wife was very angry..Her name is not on title and she wanted to know why she had to sign documents? I explained to her that Ohio is a dower state spouses have to sign certain docs.
She was very sarcastic and said yes I know that..As she throws her ID on the table in front of me..She was very nasty to her husband and you could tell he was mortified! I asked them if they wanted me to go outside while they talked..Nope they wanted me there. I asked her several times if she wanted to sign..She said No, then yes..Eventually she did sign..and threw the few documents she did have to sign at me! Wow..I felt so bad for that man..and I was very uncomfortable and almost got up to leave..But I am a professional and stuck it out..but Wow..How can people be so darn nasty?
Thank goodness this only happens once in a blue moon!

The bo is my former boss that eliminated my position (she did me a favor). When I was let go this propelled me to pursue my NSA career! I have been forever grateful to her..But I have not seen her since..My question is..
Would you take this closing or pass on it? I'm going to do it!
Just curious about what others would do?

Posted by Claudine Osborne at 10/1/2011 3:28:00 PM | I had a closing yesterday in a local bank..As I was sitting at the desk the UPS driver walked over to me with a package that needed signed for. I explained that I do not work for the bank and I cannot accept it but would you please take it to the teller? As she walked away she said "Of course Ill take it there I would not want to overwork you". I sat there and giggled and thought it was funny!

The girl calling was chuckling when I said "I'm sorry I'm booked" (no need to be unprofessional) She said we have called lots of notaries..I guess I will have to keep calling!
I can't believe they are still in business! From the notes in SC notaries are still taking their closings! |

When I found the BOs they were sitting in the children's library at a childs table. I asked them if they wanted to come to the private room? They wanted to sign at the kids table..I sat in the little chairs and away we signed! |

Posted by Claudine Osborne at 9/4/2011 9:40:00 PM | I was doing a lot of work for a TC through an SS. The SS has not called me to do any of those closings..I waited a month out of respect of the SS. I then called the TC direct..They were thrilled to hear from me! Wanted to know where I went and were excited that I contacted them. Since then I have been doing a lot of closings for them! The Escrow Officers have been keeping me quite busy and I'm getting more money and paid in days instead of weeks since there is no SS involved!
The moral of the story..This is my business and I had to branch out and attempt to get some more business and this time it paid off..Sometimes things don't pan out but we have to keep on trying! |

Seems his wife found a new boyfriend playing Farmville on Facebook..It was really hard to keep a straight face..
