Thanks everyone for responding to my inquiry. (busy day and evening) I will try your suggestions. I did call the HP tech support and they went through all they knew and it has not changed the printing speed. it only prints regular speed with Microsoft Word. Now, I have a cheap Brother Laser printer and it works like a charm. Thanks again. Sharon

my HP3050 out of the window, can anyone tell me why it runs soooooooo slow on certain programs. It's supposed to print at least 20 pages a minute and it is printing 4 pages a minute. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
