Rec'd request vie email (no telephone call) and I can't find anything on this website. They say it is for a preliminary signing (no notarizations), then the actual signing to be determined.

where to affix my stamp
Posted by pjc at 11/13/2007 9:42:00 PM
Lately I have had two SS call for for an additional Ack. because I did not affix my stamp in the correct place. (??) When the borrower signs on the second to last page of DOT, and the notarizing wording, venue, etc. is on the next page, where do I affix my stamp?

If I affix it to the last page, I have been told that "you notarized your own signature"; if I affix my stamp on the second-to-last page where the borrower has signed, I am told that the document was not notarized because it needs to be where the venue etc. are.

This has happened twice in the last month when it has never happened before to me!

Please clarify.

LSI, no docs, offices closed
Posted by pjc at 10/27/2007 1:52:00 PM
Help, I was originally told that the docs would be FedEX'd to client, then late yesterday afternoon I was told that I would receive them via email. The appt. is at 2:00, it is noon, there are no docs, all of their offices are closed for the weekend and they have no emergency # on the confirmation.

What would you do??

to shred docs that I've printed but the signing went south? I have a home shredder and the almost 300 pgs would gag my little machine!

Posted by pjc at 6/28/2007 10:52:00 PM
I would like someone to tell me exactly which docs need to be signed by a non-borrowing spouse. Does this vary by state? I am in Washigton. I have done research but cannot locate an exact answer. I want to print it our and carry it with me in my briefcase. Many thanks.
Hope everyone had a good EOM. Patti
