Posted by WINotary/WI at 8/14/2007 4:26:00 PM | Hi guys! I am having a problem being paid from, I thought, one of the good TC's out there. I have never had a problem with them before. But this signing was a bad omen from the jump. I received a call from them in mid June to do a signing for them at the end of the week. When I didn't get documents I shot over a email to Gretchen Perry, Closing Coordinator, and she responded back saying "Opps! it's not going to close..." Turned down work during that time. But oh well! So I get a call the following week from Dan Lawrence, saying it is going to close this week. Confirmed my fee, and documents arrival. Got docs, See I'm listed on HUD, so I'm like that is good. Closing comes and goes. I contact Dan on feedback, all was well. Received my check within 10 days of funding, as usual. And head to the bank, open up the envelope, and lord behold my check is short $140.00. WTF? Immediately I send an email off to Gretchen, with copies of my invoice and copy of check. She apologized, and said they would send the balance. More than two weeks pass, still no check, so I send off another email to her she responds, "oh it was the end of the month, and we have been extremely busy! We will cut a check this week, and send it out." 10 days pass still no freaking check. Send off another email, expressing my disappointment, no response, and no check.
Please put this company on your watch list! I'm trying to still give them the benefit of the doubt. I will keep you all updated on this situation.
