I first accepted then realized I hadn't heard of them. So I did a search on NotRot and found that since 2005 the majority of the comments were not good relating to timely payments. I sent an email to Jevon Cecil at FNP and explained that due to their reputation I was going to need to get paid upfront either by the borrower or by Title and the other issue is that my payment is not contingent up the loan rescinding or not; once services are rendered and documents are sent back I get a full fee regardless.
Jevon called back right away and told me that he could overnight a check and provide me with a copy and a tracking number. He then did so and I received payment the next day and the closing was completed. I just wanted to let everyone know that Jevon was good to deal with and they accommodated my request for an up front payment. Jevon also stated that things are getting better in regards to payments; so perhaps for all those who have outstanding invoices with them, they will be paid soon.

| | | | | This is why you pay for EXPERIENCE!!! Posted by JanelWI at 8/8/2007 1:57:00 PM | I received a call for a closing tomorrow night. While I am waiting for the confirmation to come through, it seems the borrower requested my info from the SS and called me. I hadn't even gotten the confirmation yet, it came through shortly after he called. He asked me about the closing and where I was from, I politely told him. He then asked if I KNEW what I was doing? I said yes explained to him my background and he then proceeded to tell me of a bad experience he had last time where the notary that was sent didn't even know how to open the edoc package, it took half a day and then she could not explain anything because she didn't know anything and proceed to joke about that fact, not to mention the paperwork went back with problems that had to be followed up on at a later date by the borrowers. I can see why the borrower wanted to feel me out first.
I hope some lenders realize that cheap does not equal experience. I just had another experience where the loan docs, which were not date sensitive, were sent to the borrower and he was told just take them to a bank or someone you know who is a notary and get them notarized. He ultimately found me and called me. He paid me directly and after it was over he said he was glad he found me because he would not have known how to navigate this paperwork and he didn't think just ANY notary would either. I thought that was very telling. |

For those of you who Bank at Chevy Chase Bank FSB, this is one of the Laurel MD Branches you cashed a check for that was addressed to me. I have the copy of the front and back side of the check showing the account number of the person that cashed it. Please email me at: janel@outsourceadministrative.com if you think it may be you. I would really appreciate it. I have already contacted First American Title, Lenders Advantage on the issue to start the dispute process. Please contact me if any agent from MD thinks this may be them.
