Is there a local networking group for Marin Signing Agents? If yes - I'd like to join. If no, how about we put one together? There is power in numbers, and if we all work together we can set our prices at what we are really worth. I did a signing today, where the Lender had charged the borrower for notary services that were in excess of $600! And I was paid only $75. Plus I had to make a set of borrower's copies. Let's start demanding the fees we deserve. Anyone interested?

Isn't it against the law to gang together and set up pricing structures? Collusion? I am reading all of these postings because I am trying to learn as much as possible about becoming a notary. I am learning a lot from this forum.
