Considering notary as new business

My career has been in accountung and business management. Now that I am 63 years of age it is very difficult to find employment. Would it be acvisable to pursue this as employment at my age? I live in the St. Paul, Minnesota area.

This can pay very well but you need to do other things also to make a living. Many companies do not pay or take 90 plus days to pay. I have one Mortgage company that I work with locally that pays me in 2 days, as soon as I email the invoice. I get paid even before they get paid. Others take advantage of you and you have to chase them down. I do title searches and private closings. I market myself to Mortgage/Title, Realtor Attornies along with being on all the Free notary databases.
