Calif. new Jurat wording
We in Calif. are just a few days from having to comply with the new Jan. 1st 2005 Jurat requirements and I would suggest everyone buy a 2005 Jurat Stamp before Jan 1st.
Our governor signed this legislation in Sept. 2004 and this has not given the title companies much time to get "up to speed." I think most companies in Calif. will have the correct verbiage for our Jurats, but I would be surprised if the other 49 states send us docs. with the correct 2005 verbiage.
Lenders like a "clean loan package" and this does not include having approx. 2-9 loose attachment "Jurat Certificates" being stapled to pages in a loan package.
It's a much better idea to purchase a Jurat Stamp with our new info: "personally known to me etc! etc!"
