Checking county recorders webpages

I have been keeping track of my signings and the closings using the county websites for the deed of trust. Is this a good indication that the loan was funded and that my check should be in the mail? For example, a person that I did a thanksgiving signing was on 11/26/04 and the deed of trust was recorded on 12/8/04...

It means the loan was funded but it does not mean that your check is coming anytime soon. Most companies pay within 30 days of the signing.

Not to contradict, but Title companies normally send out their checks as soon as funding is completed. I have done several title company signings and once the funding is complete, all disbursements happen w/in 2weeks from the signing. Example I did a signing on Nov 15, I was paid on November 24. This was a sell..

I would LOVE more title company business. The ones I've worked with have been easy and paid really fast.

It is just a matter of marketing. I get more calls from title companies than ss companies.
