Laser Printers

I'm just about to get started in this business and am curious to know why I need a laser printer vs an inkjet. Please advise. Thanks.

I believe it is because Laser printers have a higher quality print and the docs have a longer life of clarity re print.

If document created by injet get wet- they smear. laser do not.

Thank you very much for your responses. Based on what you're telling me, I suppose I should go on and purchase the printer now. I was planning to buy a laser printer in the future, simply because of the volume of paper I find myself printing, but I was hoping to be able to put that expense off for a while. Again, I thank you for giving me your thoughts.
