NEWBIE :-}

Hi there, I am a NEWBIE....complete NEWBIE....found Notary Rotary today and browsing the discussion boards for the first time. I'm finding great information (Wet & Dry closing definitions is a perfect example).

I asked NNA where I could find guideline for establishing fees I should charge as traveling notary (not even SA yet) and the guy first quoted me the max. document signing fee (yes, I know these I said, I'm talking about the actual "travel" part of the fee). He told me to charge what I want, as everyone does. Needless to say this is of no help and I wasn't impressed with my first helpline call. Browsing here has been much more useful I wondered if anyone out there can give me a guideline ? Thx MEC/California

Guidelines depend on your location. Please don't ever accept anything below 60. Not even for your next door neighbor. See my response above.
