Have any of you agreed to a low fee on the agreement contract, then been able to negotiate a higher fee when they called you?

Never agree to a low fee. Set your fee and forget it.

I negotiate all my fees, which works for me. Nothing is set in stone. I don't charge mileage, that's integrated into my fee.
