Would the Brother EHL 5040 Monochrome with PCL 6 emulations only, HQ 1200 up to 2400x600 dpi) 8 mb upgade capacity to 136mb be sufficient to print e doc's from companies? Thanks!

Yes it is. It is a great printer for printing any kind of docs that are out there.
