i heard that there was a limit to the amount of money a notary could charge in New York State - I thought it was $2 per signature, but that was a few years ago.
Anyone know? I would appreciate it if you could post.

so, curious as to how fees are established? I have been a notary for a few years, but only sign documents for work. I am thinking of branching out and doing closings or whatever else notaries can do, but not sure of what prices people are charging? And, can a notary do a closing? Thanks in advance for all information!
