Ever heard of Industry Partners Title or Document Closers??

Has anyone ever worked with either of these companies? My 1st experience with them has been a nightmare! Late docs, incomplete late docs, reprinting new incomplete late docs, and to top it all off the borrowers refused to sign when they noticed the lender slide in a $6200 loan origination fee! At least 4 hours of my time, a 60 mile round trip and now they want to pay me $35.00.

I have never heard of that company. I would send them an invoice for two print fees, they MUST pay that, it is a separate charge. That is one good reason for having a signing fee, and a print fee. In the event of a situation like this, you can charge them half the signing fee and the full print fee. I utterly refuse to do business with companies that will not pay me for my work. I am sorry that they did this to you.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with them.

I have done 5 signings with them and they might be a little disorganized but they are the only company in recent memory that Fedexed me a check for 3 of the signings without me asking for a check or even being concerned about payment. I 'm glad I was sitting down when I opened the Fedex package!!! This sort of treatment can damage a loan signers heart!!

It's true that I didn't check their no sign/no show fee so I probably would be paid a $35 cancellation fee also!

This company pays full title fees and I let companies off the hook if I do enough volume with them and I have very few no signs. This is a business decision on my part and everyone has to make up their own criteria concerning payment for "no shows/no signs etc."

Joan,

Which did you contract with? Document Closers or Industry Partners Title?

I'm sorry I didn't make that clear. I worked directly with Industry Partners.

Well if I could work directly with them maybe it would be better. As it is I turned down a job I had scheduled for this evening because I simply can't put up with the 10 phone calls to reprint, wait, hold on the doc's aren't right drama I got from the SS. I did an internet search and couldn't find a website for them. If you have a contact and wouldn't mind giving it to me let me know.

Thanks

Serina, I sure hope you get your $35. I still have not received a $35 print fee from a closing that cx back in August. Do a search on DocumentClosers. I have posted my experiences with them in the past. I will not work with them.

I work directly with Industry Partners Title and they pay title companies fees. With the large volume I get from them, I don't complain about the no signs although I have not had one with them yet. However, there no sign fee is full fee I think. Also, they pay like clockwork and overnight my check monthly no questions asked. This is a good title company if you can get in with them, but I am not sure about the SS. Looks like the SS is where you're gripe is at not the title company. This is one of the reasons why I don't do alot of work with SS. You have done your part so why should they feel that $35 is by any means a fair trip fee.
