I have a problem. I need to know the following: If I file my bond and oath on Wednesday Morning, can I do a signing Wednesday afternoon? Do you know if there is a waiting period in California?

CA has no waiting period. After you file the bond and take your oath, assuming you've got your required supplies ect, you can perform all the functions and duties of a notary public.
