when does one normally get the HUD? first signing question

I received the paperwork for my 7PM signing yesterday with a note that the HUD will be sent seperately. It is now 10AM and no email with HUD as of yet. Is that normal? When should I start paniking and call the lender about it?

I would call now, just to let them know you have not received it. Don't wait until an hour or two before .....call them and tell them so they can get on the ball.
Just call and be nice about it and tell them you are stepping out for the day with appt's and that you need it ASAP. Whether you have appts or not they don't know and it will make them send it sooner. I had one once where I called waiting for a revised HUD and the person I talked to thought another person had already sent it out. I had it within 10 minutes.

The hud should be coming from the title company, not the lender. If a signing service hired you, then call the signing service to let them know your deadline in getting the hud. They will, in turn, call the title company... or they'll have you call them directly. In either case, don't wait until the last minute. Calling the morning of an evening signing to give them a deadline is not unusual... and at least then they know what time frame they're looking at to complete it.

thank you. I called the signing service who said she will call the title company. So far I have not received anything yet but I guess I am just getting a bout nervious...this will be my first signing and as I stated in a previous question... the NNA seminar does not a great job preparing one for the actual job as I seem to find out at the moment.
