Reminds me of the time my brother was visiting Austin, and I took him to the state cemetery. We ran across a headstone that read: "Here lies a lawyer and an honest man."

My brother looked at the plot speculatively, then opined: "Hugh, that grave's not big enough for two people."

Speaking of Lawyer Jokes...

A lawyer wandered home at 3 AM. His wife became very upset, telling him, "You're late! You said you'd be home by 11:45!"

The lawyer replied, "I'm right on time. I said I'd be home by a quarter of twelve."

You Can Tell All the Missouri Jokes You Want...

...as I'm originally from Kansas. Even though I've lived in MO for 27 years, my allegiances still point westward. Now if you start making jokes about my beloved Jayhawks (at least from a men's basketball standpoint) you'll get a "rise" out of me!
