Notary America must be making lots of money off us..IRS shou
I wonder how Notary America is expensing their payments for work done. If they don't expense they will end up owing a large tax on their business. Without the expense they have actually screwed themselves because that have not paid anyone! I bet IRS would love to audit their returns. I will not take a phoney 1099-Misc (that is the only way she can expense it legally) I hope that all the notaries will not take any phoney 1099's either because we did not get paid. By the way, IRS welcomes all snitches on tax cheaters. You can get there by www.irs.gov I hope that everyone out there will let the IRS know that they will be filing false tax returns. NOW..that is a federal offense!

The IRS actually goes after these companies if you turn them in. A few years ago I turned in an Ex-employer that tried to stiff me for my wages. My report prompted an audit in which this company turned out owing the IRS millions. I had quit due to the fraudulent things I had discovered. I was their accountant, they pissed out the wrong person. The company went bankrupt, the owner was an Attorney and he lost is license and lost everything, even his home. What goes around comes around. What was great about it, he never knew it was me who turned him in.

From your posting it sounds like the IRS got them because of the other information that you told them such as the fraudulent things you discovered.
You may very well have turned them in because they stiffed you. But, the IRS does not help people collect money due them.

They did not help me collect the money. I worked with the investigator putting the case together. I never got paid a dime from the person who owed me the money, but the IRS gave me a reward. So I got what was coming to me and then some.

Margaret, in your example the reason you complained to the IRS was that you KNEW of fraudulant practices of the company you report as they relate to the IRS. The fact that you were owed wages from that company is not why the IRS got them. It was because of the other fraudulant information you reported.
The problem with Roger's theory about Notary America is he doesn't know if Notary America has done anything wrong that would warrant an IRS investigation. He is making wild accusations based on no knowledge.
That is unethical and illegal. As a taxpayer it ticks me off to hear people like Roger waste my money so.
If he wants to collect his money from Notary America he should do what is legal and not involve agencies such as the IRS on unfounded claims. Stick to what he is owed rather than waste the IRS time falsely claiming Notary American committed tax fraud.
