Anon Post to My Blog...Hmmm...who COULD it be?
Actually "two" Anon's...one posting the first note on my blog, and then one posting an answer to the first.
Hmmm...who COULD it be?
==== You sound like you are a Notario Publico from Mexico or something of high rank! I've read your posts on Notary Rotary and you down people because they may happen to mention there e-mail address or advertise. You.... you hover in notary rotary all day and act as if you are a wanna be Victoria Ring (50statenotary.com). You're so into yourself that it makes me wonder how boring your life actualy is.
Do you really think that any professional, active, notary public gives a crap about your journey as a document signer?
I don't see Judges or Clerk-Magistrates bragging, and beleive me, they DO have room to brag because they have powers that make your's look like childs play.
Don't think that I am suggesting you are close to a Judge or Magistrate, because you're not.
I think your life as a Notary is the only thing you're capable of doing. Signing documents and placing a stamp on it took how many years of college?
Get over yourself Brenda!
-- Posted by Anonymous #2 to [===] at 4/8/2005 03:25:15 PM I agree with Anon... I'm not sure how Texas notaries act or think, but if you read in the news you'll find numerous notaries public in Texas pretending to be "Notario Publicos".
You should know that Texans aren't so bright! If you think I'm lying watch Texas Justice. Its a crapy court reality TV show with an airhead judge and retarded court officer. The show is completely stupid and goes to show how Texans really are!!
Brenda... with all do respect my darlin', I'm really sick of seeing your name and posts on Notaryrotary.com . Please move on to something else. Your Victoria Ring wannabe (thanks anon..) days need to come to an end. Your head is swollen and you need to face your reality pen pusher.

----- My response... Greetings, Anon 1 and Anon 2:
You are correct:
My life is very boring, I do not have a college degree, and I am very into myself.
VR wannabe, not so sure...but, thank you for reading my blog entry so closely and taking time to critique it. I am pleased you read my posts on NotRot and have taken the time to read my blog entries. Your directives have been taken under advisement, and I will forthwith attempt to "get over myself."
Thank you.

If you ask me, I say they sound like KH. Same typo (e.g. with all "do" respect - his famous line), same writing style - very childish. Examples used are people in the courtroom - Mr. lawyer wannabe himself, a "Harvard" graduate.

Sounds like the child is still in the sandbox. Maybe, just maybe, he (they) will find his marbles so he can keep playing with his friends!

John & Becky
That's kinda what I thought...especially since people seldom post on there and today I received not one Anon talking to and about me, but two! And...in all the postings that went on here, I really only remember the term Magistrate coming forth from the guy we agree posted this.
(Do we even have "Magistrates" in Texas??)

Re: John & Becky
I was on another board today and thought hmmm, wonder if he is on here.... you would think the public humiliation would have dropped his ego just a tad. I guess you could feel flattered, Brenda, that he misses you so much that he has to intently read your blog!

Magistrates
Yeah, we have them here, too, but they are seldom referred to that way in real life.
Judiciary or Judge, but seldom The Magistrates.
However, I do have a few Judges/ret'd Judges/JPs who'd probably would write about my fine wit, my fine taste in clothes and jewelry, and a fading memory of other fine things I used to have, but as to expert notary technique...probably not...Anon's got me there!

Re: Magistrates
Brenda says of magistrates in Texas:
***Yeah, we have them here, too, but they are seldom referred to that way in real life. ***
All JPs in Texas are magistrates. So are county judges who are the chief executive officers of counties and have some judicial functions, too. Seldom do the statutes refer to them as such, though statutes in Texas often refer to magisterial hearings and such functions.
About the only place where you will normally see the actual title of the office include the term magistrate is in some municipal courts that are created by home-rule cities.

Re: Magistrates
Brazos County...yep...that is their official title. But, as a practical matter, Hugh, we don't use that term in conversing. That was my point.

Re: Magistrates
Oh, I understand now. On pleadings, we do use Magistrate, if that is the case, or when talking to the Court, but like you say, in everyday conversing, it's not used.

Brenda... Don't go anywhere that you don't want to girlfriend. Hadn't read your blog...will have to check it out.
It seems pretty narrow minded to think that an entire state could be flawed. I remember when the chad thing was going on in Florida, and everybody had to endure the disparaging remarks. Those people (like your blog posters) were not only unkind, but just plain wrong.
Who knows one day someone may call VR a Brenda wannabe...after all you Texans have to do EVERYTHING in a really BIG way. Lotsa luck in all your endeavors.

D-Pa...more OT - skip it
Thank you, Lorraine...you are kind.
Texans have taken quite a bashing lately on NotRot...but we are a sturdy breed, as well are our Floridian Friends.
I believe it comes from the Gulf of Mexico's regional murderous heat.
(I can feel the sweat popping out just thinking about it.)

Re: No one has mentioned this .....
Brenda,
My sense to some extent of the thrust of the two posters is that they feel that you consider yourself an attorney - wannabe. Now, don't get me wrong; I don't think you come off that way (at all).
Now why do I say that? Because of their continued reference to you as a "notario publico" wanna-be. I don't know what the notary regs are in Texas ( I imagine they are comparable to those in Michigan), but in Michigan one cannot advertise oneself as a "notario publico" (for those of you who haven't already guessed a "notario publico" is a notary public in spanish) because of the implications of that phrase. "Notarios publicos" in Latin America have powers akin to those that attornies have in the United States. So the only circumstances that one could advertise onself as a notario publico (in Michigan) would be if he or she were also a licensed attorney.

Ted tells Brenda:
***My sense to some extent of the thrust of the two posters is that they feel that you consider yourself an attorney - wannabe.***
Brenda would come across like she thought herself an attorney if she was a fry cook.
No...that's not fair to Brenda. Brenda doesn't think she's an attorney; Brenda thinks she's better than we lawyers. Brenda thinks she's the Chief Justice.
