Loan Officer & the notary..update
Called CA SoS re: CA governement code 8224. Agent stated there would be no conflict of interest as long as you are not the mortgagee or named in the loan documents as having any interest in the property itself. As a loan officer, you are an employee and as a notary, you are an independent contractor.
