Two sets of initial lines on the same page?

What do you do when you have two signers on a loan and the bottoms of the pages look like this:

____/____ page 1 of 27 ____/____

I understand that there is a space for each signer to initial, either to the right or to the left of the slash mark. But why would they have initial spots in two places on the same page?

What would you do in a case like this?

The extras are in case there are more than 2 signers. Just have the borrowers pick a pair.
