When the lender sends the docs directly to the borrower , shouldn't they make sure there are two copies of the right to cancel ?? Well they didn't.

Yes they should, but they often don't. What I tell the borrowers is if they decide to cancel to make an extra copy beforehand, so they will have one for their files.
