I have xp and it works fine, never had a problem
but I think a lot of it depends if you are running the latest service packs or not. I was wondering what her fix was so it may be of some use in the future.

EDS help desk sent me a file to run before I installed...
Worked like a charm after that. He said If you're running XP, you need this patch before you install the viewer.

Wow, that is good to know. But I have xp on my laptop and I never downloaded a patch, but I did transfer the file off of my desktop which runs 98se instead of downloading it. Maybe that is the difference. Thanks for the info.
