Re: Notary Publics for $35.00/signing

BTW, typos, spelling and grammar all appeared in Mr. Ramierez' letter.

Okay, back to lurking.

Well I disagree - it is a joke. And Carolyn, thank goodness you have reputable title companies and professional SS's that appreciate an experienced SA who provides error-free work and you don't have to worry that "this offer will not be made to you again".

I think that was just to fill your car with gas. The contract MUST have a larger fee. ha ha. Thanks for the laugh.

I think pushing is coming to shoving, and let's face it, I think the unscrupulous middle man is going to be weeded out, just like the unprofessional signing agents will be. That may not be a bad thing. This is not a reference to newbies, I have found that there are well prepared people everywhere, and some people that have been everywhere are not prepared.

My Father was a CA Hippy in the 60's & 70's. Many of his lettuce lov'in buddies from the past have invaded on the Corvallis, OR area. From what I understand, Corvallis is full of old CA hippies and, in my opinion, anything from this area should be looked into very carefully.

JMHO

BTW, been there, saw that, bought the T-shirt.

Carolyn,

I live in Corvallis, Oregon and after reading your post I tried to find info on this company and nothing came up, what a joke. Even though I live in Corvallis, Oregon I would never take a signing for less than 75.00. I do this part time as I am a grad student at OSU and am not doing this for free. I also used to live in Durango, just moved back to Oregon to go back to school. I always appreciate your posts.
