$300 and counting..the signing that keeps on giving

I have never vented on here before, but I feel I need to now.

I have a nightmare signing that has been going on for 2 weeks now. SS sent me the order around the 25th of July. I received docs and head out to the Borrowers home, when I get there we discover that the Borrowers name is wrong so we cant sign ( she wont sign). This was 10:30 at night as the Borrowers dont get home till late. The next morning I notify the SS of the no-sign and verify the trip charge.

2nd trip-
They reprint docs and I go back out a few nights later at the same time. When I get there this time the Borrowers noticed the #'s on the HUD and the #'s on the 3rd page of the application did not match. Mind you we were 5 pages from being done with the signing. I told her the #'s on the HUD (which were ok with her) were the only #'s that mattered, the application is not always up to date. She didnt care, she wasnt going to sign.....wonderful, another night I could have been sleeping.

3rd Trip-
Called SS they and let them know this is a VERY difficult Borrower or lender I havent figured it out yet. They let lender know. The lender called the Borrower and told her to put the application from the original package in this package and finish signing the docs. So I went back out for the 3rd time to finish up the package. Now We have started signing docs 2 days earlier with that date, and now we are finishing up the signing on a different date. Not wanting to back date anything I verified that this was ok to have 2 different dates on docs. The SS and the Lender said no prob. Goodie I thought this was done and over with.

4th trip-
SS called and said guess what.....Escrow wont accept the docs due to the date issue. So we have to sign again. All the while these appointments have to be at 10:30 pm, and I am getting to know the Borrowers very well. I dont evan feel I have to knock anymore, this is becoming my second home. We sign this set on monday of this week sent docs back thinking this is finaly over. Oh no....not yet, SS calls today and says there may be another problem with the way the docs were drawn up and we may have to do it again...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.....someone shoot me please.

so 4 trips=signings fees, printing fees, trip charges, there going to need to take a 2nd out to just pay me.

Charge them for a bottle of aspirin while you're at it.

I'd say you deserve it.

I would say that is job security. You don't even have to use MapQuest your car knows the way. I hope it does get signed and they give you a big bonus. You deserve it.

Ask escrow if they can forward the docs directly to the

borrower for this one. Have the borrowers look over everything and when ready to sign give you a call. Maybe set it up for a saturday morning.
