I was just wondering, if after you sign up with the Signing Services do you receive any kind of acknowledgment from them, such as an email stating that they did receive your application, or do you just wait for a phone call and hope for the best???

My experience has been that it varies with each SS. Most never sent an acknowledgement. A few sent an e-mail confirmation. A few others actually called me back. Still others I never heard from until there was a signing in my area. And lastly there were those SS who happened to find my name here and called even though I hadn't signed up.
