1st signing for a Refi. at 4pm.

All,
This is my first signing to complete a Refi. and I am little nervous. Any advice out there??

Take your time, check and recheck. Watch initials carefully...the spot for them is not always easy to see. Look at every page. Don't answer "why" or "how come" questions, always refer them to their contact. Take control at the beginning by explaining what your role is. They don't need to know its your first signing. Good luck, you'll do fine. Dotti

PS: Don't let the borrower's rush you by telling you they need to leave by....... Remind them the documents are important and if they don't have time now maybe its better to reschedule. Usually shuts em right up.

Just read the headings of the papers, Double & Triple check docs for any missed signature or intials & make sure if theres a first middle & last name on docs , Have them initial all three i.e. Harry Mo Smith (HMS).

Take a breath , once your done you realize its pretty easy & easier with each one.
