Gateway Title in Orange, CA... what a waste of time!
Has anybody had a smooth, organized dealing with this company? Here are the responses I got to missing Edocs for a signing yesterday at 6:00 pm.
10am - accepted the job, "Docs will be to you within an hour."
11am - "Docs were just sent, attachments to be there in 10 minutes or less"
11:30am - "Docs were sent already"
12pm - "I think we sent you those" I verified the Email AGAIN and asked the format and location. Maybe I could access them myself. "NO they are PDF."
1pm - Lender called. "Just checking to make sure all is good, the borrower really wants to close tonight." No everthing is not good, need the docs and am getting the run-around. Sent a sample Email, came through no problem. No Docs yet, try another Email, called ISP, no probs on my side.
2pm- Gotta go to another appt. If they aren't here when I get back we will have to cxl or reschedule.
4pm- Still no docs.
5pm- Still no docs. Girlie says huffily, 'I already sent these to you, your email must be screwed up.'
9pm-Docs come in and the bulk of it are DigitalDocs... DUH I could have accessed them myself. The HUD and TIL are worksheet type attachments from the same girl that gave me the run-around and she is mad at me because it must have been my email but gee sweetie, I think that you forgot to find a way to GET THE TIME STAMP OFF THE ORIGINATION INFO ON THE BOTTOM OF THE DOCUMENTS before you blamed it on someone else.

05/31/2005..... hmmmm Working Late? How about a little butt covering going on!
When I called today to make SURE that I had EVERYTHING the girlie was SOOO snotty. "Whatever paperwork you have is all you are going to get." Is this an answer?
And to top it all off... not only did they waste a bunch of my time yesterday, I just wasted some more by crabbing about them. Signers beware! And to those of you that have had great experiences with them... girlie must have had the day off!
