I'm a notary and new loan signing agent and don't live far from Woodland Hills. I read alot on this forum and have not heard anyone mention WMC mortgage yet! Have you been busy lately, I find it kind of slow out here.

WMC Mortgage before it was bought was known as Weyerhaeuser Mortgage Company. How do I know, well, I worked for Weyerhaeuser Mortgage Company for over 8 years as a Payoff Supervisor. When Weyerhaeuser sold off the mortgage company (after I had left) the owners kept the acronym (sp?) WMC, which is what Weyerhaeuser Mortgage Company was known by. They did "A" paper loans. You had to have excellent credit to get one of their loans.

WMC is still located in the Trillium building on Canoga Avenue in Woodland Hills next door to the Hilton.

WMC is now a sub-prime lender.
