Notary misconduct

I know of an escrow officer/broker that never renewed her notary form a couple years back. She now uses her friends stamp to notarize loan docs all day long. What are the ramifications of this?

Re: Your state?

Often questions (such as your present one) require state-specific responses. So it would help if you indicated what state you are in.
