Blue or black Ink Color?

When there is no indication of ink color for a closing package, what color do you choose?

I use black if blue is not specified. Even when the confirmation says for borrowers to sign in blue, I still do my stuff in black.

Depends on your state. CA is blue. Please check with your local Register of Deeds office if you are not sure.

Re: Where does it say CA is blue?? ........I use

black unless blue is called for by the lender. My stuff, journal etc, is inked in black.

I do blue, unless they specify to do black. I've noticed most ask for blue. I think cuz it shows that it was NOT a copy document but the actural signature. If that makes sense. Dee
