Hey Paw, Can I pick your brain for a minute?

I had another world savings this morning, main docs were on elynx. I've used elynx before (it's been awhile ago) with no problems, however it was a different comp. I downloaded the program and tried to print. All I could get was lines and a word or two on each sheet. Do you know why it would do this? Borrower canceled, but I want to fix this before he does sign.
TIA Smile

Install the VMP Delivers "DTViewer" (download from my website if you don't have it) and see if it will open it. The DTViewer will allow you to view .elx files before printing them. Then you can see if the file is corrupt or you have a printer problem.

BTW, what make/model printer do you have?

still not working.

I did try opening with the vmp, but it doesn't let me look at the docs, just starts printing

Re: still not working.

After installing DTView, you need to run DTView directly and set the default to view the file. Otherwise it defaults to direct print. And be sure you are running the Viewer, not just dtprint from DocuTech.

Ok, did that

I can see the docs now, but they're still not printing properly. I can't see anyway of breaking it up to print a smaller batch at a time. I've had to do that before for this printer. Is there a way to do that? Thanks for your help Smile

Re: Ok, did that

If you can see them and they look fine, then I suggest it is a printer problem. Try printing them from DTViewer using the Windows printing. Other than that, try uninstalling then reinstalling the printer and drivers.
