Sequel to-- A tale of two mortages

Title was insistent: Either I give them permission to add the middle initial to the mortgage or they would send me a new mortgage and pay me to get it signed.

I wound up calling up the Secretary of State's office (which I probably should have done in the first place.)

They said as long as the I.D. supports it (which it did) they had no problem if Title(with my permission) added the missing middle initial.

SOS said it's possible the county recorder might buck...but said they'd tell the recorder the same thing they told me.
