Beth/MD, Brenda_NC and LilyMD ("What's UPL?")

I'm doing a gesture of my open hand flying over my head and making a "Whoosh" sound because Beth's obvious "unplugged signing" reference from this morning went clean past me.

I had in mind the meaning "to express (a word or thought, for example) by sign language," not our business of signing loan papers.

My bad!

Back to work!

Rick

Re: Rick_NY

As hubby tells me, sometimes it's hard to see where I'm going when my heads up my A@@.

Yesterday I had a signing off of 104th. I knew it was 104th - printed off maps, everything. I drive to 120th (both major thoroughfares, BTW), take a left on Washington in an effort to look for for 105th -- after a mile-and-one-half and up to 140th, I realized the numbers were getting a WHOLE lot bigger than 105.

Sometimes it's hard to see where one is going when another is doing the driving. It was an early morning, off the (jammie) cuff joke.

Now for those who need more explanation. Sometimes we inadvertandly type singing instead of signing.....thus unplugged is without amps.

I'll take my lumps if you think it was bad.

DUH! I did eventually get it.

It's not easy to be funny. Steve Martin did a TV special years ago called "Comedy Is Not Pretty," but Beth, the word is on the board that you are. ;-)

Light bulb turned on over head at....1 PM?

Rick, this is your diagnosis: you are either alcohol or caffeine deficient. Either way, treatment is easy: Have 2 martinis and call me for jokes in the afternoon Smiley LOL
Normally I am not with it until one of 2 things happen: I gulp my coffee quota or it turns noon, whichever comes first.
