Do you charge extra for fax backs if you were not made aware

they wre required until yu saw the instructions at the signing table beause the docs went to the borrower? Will companies pay it if you bill them the extra?

I do charge for fax backs and split packages too. Call the Co and let them know you charge for additional services. I've always been paid.

My base fee includes faxbacks. In an attorney state, you are required to fax documents back to the attorney. I use onebox.com. This enables me to send 1 fax to many different numbers at the same time. If the title company or lender requires fax backs, I send them all at once.

Just start asking if faxbacks are required when you're on the phone. I do. It's saved a lot of headaches for me. I tell those companies that want 20 pages faxed back that 0-4 pages are no charge and I charge $25 for 5 to 25. Talk about reduce the number of pages the actually need. Works like a charm for me.
