if you had the luxury to change just one thing...

to make your S.A. career easier, what would you change.

For me it would be my very own signature stamp. I don't ask for much.

I'd like a car that got over 60miles to a gal. of gas.

Having a reliable, wonderful babysitter available at a moments notice.

Oh, but having total computer/ technology knowledge would be so great!

A helper that worked for free, such as an SO, retired parent, or neighbor kid. The helper could sit and wait for edocs and call me when they were printed and ready to go. The helper would also be put to use re-filling toner cartridges and shipping pkgs.

I'd just love to spend more time on the boat.

That is what a retired husband is for. AS for the boat, he wishes I'd spend more time on them.

It would make my career (and life) easier if I didn't have to sign up with 200 different signing services to get work, and research them all, etc. I could sign up with just one service or agency whose job it would be to get assignments for me from around the country. That way I could concentrate on loan signings.

ALL docs on time!!!!! Not just part here, part there for e-mails, and UPS to be on time (Fedex isn't quite as bad).

I vote for docs on time...

I spend much too much time waiting for the docs. If I knew when they'd be here, I could accomplish much more!

No more middleman

Signing companies fell off the face of the earth (of course, as I'm typing this my phone rings and it's a signing company confirming that I'm doing an appointment for them tomorrow even though I've already e-mailed them to confirm I received the appointment)

Service Link Follow Up

I have only done a few overnight signs for SL at $65 each. This is my 1st email for them as it was last minute. I am charging them title co fees and they are a title co. She was huffy but agreed as it is last minute. The HUD shows SL getting well over a $1,000 for settlement costs, searches and title insurance. The bank is getting a nice fee also. I am p***** that she qwibbled over my fee which is reasonable and standard for edocs. The instructions are pretty heavy handed also, like we are idiots. The confirmation request was 4 pages. I have not been able to reach the customer and she has to bring $1,800 to close. Gee, I wonder if she knows? I thought the reason SR paid so little was that they charged less, NOT. Thanks for the rant.
