To answer your question. Williams Bay is between Delavan , Lake Geneva and Fontana areas.
It's pretty much your basic College town and tourist trap. That's why I was wondering how well a Notary might do around the area. There is a lot of new construction and upscale homes in the area.
It's about 2/hrs from Chicago.

As I said, the higher the population the more biz. Also the availabilty of signing agents in the area. This is just a guess but I imagine you would do well if you market yourself. Visit the mortgage brokers, lenders, title co etc. Also see if there are Primerica reps in the area. They are incredibly busy up here and they request notaries they like thru their company. These are citfinancial loans and the rep is usually at the closing to explain anything the borrower comes up with. Easy closings.
You might like it here...been above freezing for a week...grass is greening up and most of the snow is gone!

Thanks so much for the input. Now weather, lol or not I decide to recapture my early youth by moving back to Freeze City Burrrr! Time will tell.

My brother and his wife are pushing for "Return of the Colorado Relative" thing. I've been out here (Colorado) for almost 30 years so I'm not sure what the decision will be??

Thanks again and Very Happy New Year!

My best to You
