The other day I did a signing for WellsFargo, where there

They were the title company. This is the first one I have done with Wells Fargo with no title company or anyone else involved. How long have they been doing there own title work and own funding I really hadn't closed any for them since I left the Title Company a year ago.

I knew they owned an interest in ATI which then changed their name to RELS. They had some kind of problem with ATI/RELS several years ago, and quit using them even though they owned a huge interest in them. So it does not surprise me that they are attempting to go another way in states where they can legally do that.

Are you sure? What kind of loan is it? It may be that title work isn't necessary for the particular program that the borrowers got. I do not believe that "Wells Fargo" is a title company. I see them using Fidelity National a lot, but certainly not limited to that particular title company.
